A classic profile among the regional coffees of Colombia, this coffee is sourced through partners Cofinet from Gaitania that is located in the southern portion of Tolima, bordering Huila and Cauca, in the foothills of the Northern Andes. The Gaitania area is dominated by the Huila volcano.
Gaitania is a village located in the Planadas municipality in the department of Tolima. Planadas has a story that interwoven between local culture and coffee as the coffee is produced by the indigenous community NasaWesx of Gaitania. The Nasa Wesx live in different indigenous territories in Cauca, Huila, and Tolima. This coffee is washed in the washing station and placed on raised beds to achieve the right moisture percentage.
