Colombia Inza
Caramel, Dark Chocolate, Lime
Sourced through our partners Belco, Inza is a classic regional selection produced by smallholder growers in the Inzá municipality, part of the Tierradentro region on Cauca’s western slopes. Inzá is a municipality in the department of Cauca, Colombia. The region of Tierradentro, in the department of Cauca, comprises a region with one of the most rugged geography in the country.
Mulita Group is the small holder association producing the traceable coffee. The association was founded in 2016 as a family project with the mission to improve the lives of farmers. The founders, the Vega Fajardo family, are organic and specialty coffee farmers. Now united as La Orquídea y el Oso they seek to preserve the terroir, changing monoculture and pesticides for ancestral farming methods. They are located in the central Andean Cordillera.
We roast Inza with versatility in mind—an medium developed to shine as both espresso and filter. The result highlights the classic Colombian profile that coffee lovers around the world cherish. Expect a lively lime taste with caramel overtones and dark chocolate finish adding warmth and depth.
